TOA 50th Anniversary Solent Rally
A rally to celebrate 50 years since the TOA was founded in 1968 took place at Emsworth Marina on Saturday and Sunday June 23-24. Seven Tridents attended, led by South Coast Member Pete Munday’s Red Kite.
Nigel Dyson in Kestrel (crewed by TOA Vice President Chris Tabor) sailed up from Exmouth in Devon.
TOA Commodore Jon Reed managed to launch his Trident Spin in time after an 18 month refit . And The Hon Sec’s Swallow made the journey from her Island Harbour berth on the Medina River of the IOW. Also attending were Tridents
18 members and their guests sat down to lunch at the marina’s Deck restaurant.
