Fin keel

About a third of Tridents are fin-keelers drawing 3’8″(1.11m).
Most of the 1500lbs (680kg) of ballast in the cast-iron fin is concentrated low down in the bulb making the fin keeler the stiffest of the three keel options. All Trident ballast keels are through-bolted from inside the reinforced hull with stainless steel bolts. The heads of the bolts are glassed over.  Click here to see the triple keel or drop keel versions.
