HASLAR RALLY April 22/23 2023
Four boats made it to our first rally of the season at Haslar Marina in Portsmouth Harbour; Swallow, Red Kite, Tallula and Lottie. A dozen members sat down to a welcome dinner in The Castle Tavern Gosport including President Marian Quantrell, Vice President Chris Tabor and Commodore Jon Reed and Jean Reed our former Treasurer.

The weather was OK and the winds were generally light but in a kindly direction.
Gentle beam reaches for those arriving by sea. A good shakedown cruise for those of us who had just launched.
Pete Munday (Right) our South Coast Rep who organised the rally says he is not thinking of changing his name to Pete Sundae though he clearly enjoyed his pudding.

We all went aboard Red Kite to admire the new floor and step that marks the beginning of her refurbishment down below.
